President
As President of the Federation of Korean Associations, S.E. U.S.A., it is my great honor to welcome you to our website.
Our Federation proudly represents and unites 27 local Korean Associations across North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Alabama, and Tennessee, serving as the umbrella organization for more than 310,000 Korean Americans in the Southeast.
Since its founding in 1980, the Federation has worked tirelessly to be a strong voice for our community promoting unity, safeguarding the rights and interests of our members, and building meaningful relationships both within our community and with mainstream society.
We are one of eight major regional federations organized around the Korean Consulate Generals in the United States, and we remain steadfast in our commitment to advancing the prosperity of Korean Americans while strengthening the bonds of friendship between Korea and the United States.
Among our most significant initiatives is the Korean American Southeastern Sports Festival, held annually since 1981. This event has become one of the largest gatherings of Korean Americans in the United States, serving as a proud celebration of our heritage and a bridge that connects generations.
Beyond major events, I believe it is vital to support every generation of Korean Americans whether through mentorship, career networking, cultural programs, or community engagement. Our mission is to ensure that Korean Americans can thrive in American society while remaining deeply connected to their cultural identity.
This website serves as a platform for communication, collaboration, and the exchange of information among Korean Associations throughout the Southeast. It is my sincere hope that it will strengthen our network and further enhance our ability to serve our community effectively.
With your continued support and encouragement, I am confident that together we can build an even brighter future for all generations of Korean Americans in the Southeast.
