Special Message to Korean War Veterans and Families
Korean War Veterans and Families
Hello everyone,
Thank you for being here today.
We’ve come together to remember a very important day:
June 25, 1950.
That’s when the Korean War began.
It was a time filled with fear, pain, and loss
but also with incredible courage and sacrifice.
Today, we honor those who fought and never came home,
and those who are still with us our living heroes.
Your service changed the course of history,
and we will never forget what you did.
We also want to recognize
the families spouses, children, and loved ones
who stood by them.
You carried the weight of war in your own way,
and your strength means just as much.
Because of your sacrifice,
Korea today is a free and thriving country.
Because of your love and service,
generations of Korean Americans now live with pride and hope.
And I especially want to thank, as well,
Gina Wilson and staff,
for all the effort and hard work in preparing today’s event.
Your dedication made this gathering possible.
So from the bottom of our hearts:
Thank you.
We remember you.
And we will always honor you.
Thank you for your service!
